The Mill Rats are looking for individuals who seek to further their academic and professional careers in sports. An internship with the Mill Rats will present the opportunity to learn how an organization operates through experience in a variety of different departments. Internships are available for both the Spring and Summer semesters and are available to students who are receiving college credit or those who are looking to add positive work experience to their resumes.
Video/Media: Create video content for merch, food and beverage, team activities, games, theme night activities, sponsor and group interactions, community event
Team Management: Work closely with General Manager on daily operations and managing of the baseball organization
Game Presentation: Work in the press box executing video board operations, be on-field for in between innings games, and encourage fan engagement
Broadcast/Streaming: Assist Broadcaster in game day broadcast, camera operations, and stream execution
Social Media: Photograph fan content during home games including on-field activities, fan experience, food and beverage, and more! Create video content for merch, food and beverage, team activities, games, theme night activities, sponsor and group interactions, community events, and find current trends and execute with player involvement
Ticket Sales: Work with front office on creating ticket packages, learn about group sales, and communicating with customers
Data Analytics: Work with coaching staff on player stats and gather information (Knowledge of baseball analytics required)
Food & Beverage/Hospitality: Assist Food & Beverage manager with food operations. Game day prep, inventory, stocking, food ordering. Communicate with parties and group outings to fill orders and ensure a positive fan experience
